ACT-To-Outlook Convert is compatible with both local Outlook installations as well as with Exchange-based installation. In addition, the product offers full configurability of destination directories.

Companionlink offers a vaastly superior, cheaper product, and they will actually provide support. Demo is crippled and developer cant be bothered to support a "low cost product" (his words)

The demo had key features crippled, and, believe it or not, the developer refused to answer questions on just HOW these features function (basically told me he couldnt be bothered to answer questions on a low-cost product)! I found the features that I could use to be less then ideal. DoubleLook is a much better (and cheaper!) package with a richer set of features.

The review talks about "Local Outlook installs," but how well does this software work with LAN or WAN installs of Outlook?

It does the job OK, but after spending over $AU400 on a conversion I found I can do just as good a job for free with Outlooks Business Contact manager.
